How appealing is the political arena for the new generation? Is the global rise of populism the cause or consequence of this exodus?

The HUMAN documentary Help! Wie wil het volk vertegenwoordigen? (Help! Who wants to represent the people?) examines the exodus from the House of Representatives of the Netherlands. In recent months, several experienced and respected politicians have left the Dutch government. How does this affect the functioning of our democracy now that politicians are losing experience? Are there ways to turn the tide?

Mayra & Sam designed, animated, and produced various graphic elements for this documentary. Inspired by political campaign posters, we created the title image and the individual introductions of the former members of parliament.
